Dance Classes

The dance season is divided into three 11-week terms with a fee of $180 per term. COMPLETE PAYMENT BEFORE EACH TERM DEDUCT $10. Example: Regular term $180-$10 equals $170. Classes are 1 hour 30 minutes in length when 5 or more students, except beginner pre-ballet classes which are 1 hour in length.

Dance classes are held at the dance studio located at 2305 N. 8th Street. Use the back entrance.

Baton Classes

Three 11-week terms. All regular classes are 1 hour long. For the past 11 years, to continue the art of baton, there has not been a charge for lessons held Saturday AM. Holy Family School has allowed us the use of their auditorium free of charge. However, it is suggested those studying baton study dance as well! The two art forms are combined when one twirls.

Baton classes are held at the Holy Family School Auditorium located at 814 Superior Avenue on Saturday mornings.

Tuition for lessons are definitely payable within 15 days of the beginning of each term. COMPLETE PAYMENT BEFORE EACH TERM BEGINS DEDUCT $10.

PAYMENT DUE BEFORE Wednesday, September 8, 2010 in order to receive deduction.

2nd Term: Wednesday, December 1, 2010 - Saturday, February 26, 2011.
PAYMENT DUE BEFORE Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in order to receive deduction.

3rd Term: Wedneday, March 2, 2011 - Saturday, May 21, 2011.
PAYMENT DUE BEFORE Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in order to receive deduction.

*No refund of tuition will be made for lessons missed or discontinued.

Family Rates

2 students, same family - 10% discount.

3 or more students, same family - 15% discount.

1 Student, Dance & Baton - Baton class offered free to those who study dance.

Special Rates for More Than One Class Per Week

To develop and realize the benefits of dance fully, it is suggested students study more than once per week. To encourage this, for every extra class per week, the fee for an 11-week term is an additional $50. (Subject to approval in advance of teacher.)

The school has offered this extra class price break since 1974 in an effort to make dance affordable for the more serious student. There is no family rated discount on extra classes.

Friday, April 22, 2011 - Monday, April 25, 2011.

Observation Week Dates

Parents are invited to observe their child's class during the designated Observation Week ONLY.

1st Term: Wednesday, November 17 - Saturday, November 20, 2010.
2nd Term: There is no formal Observation Week during the 2nd Term.
3rd Term: The Arts Center performance provides observation.

Anytime during the 33 week session if you feel observing your child's class will help with home practice or other questions you are always welcome. However, notify Diane in advance.
